Football legend Diego Maradona, one of the most prominent players of all time, has kicked the bucket at the age of 60. 

The former Argentine attacking midfielder and manager endured a heart attack. 

He had fruitful surgery on a brain blood clot prior in November and was to be treated for liquor dependency. One of the fame’s most talented players, the Argentine gloated a uncommon combination of energy, colorfulness, vision and speed which entranced fans. 

Maradona was captain when Argentina won the 1986 World Cup, creating an arrangement of radiant person exhibitions to lead his team to glory, scoring the famous ‘Hand of God’ goal against England in quarter-finals.

In a statement on social media, the Argentine Football Association communicated “its most profound distress for the passing of our legend”, including: “its deepest sorrow for the death of our legend”, adding: “You will always be in our hearts” Maradona played for Barcelona and Napoli amid his club career, winning two Serie A titles with the Italian side. He scored 34 objectives in 91 appearances for Argentina, speaking to them in four World Cups. 

Maradona led his nation to the 1990 final in Italy, where they were beaten by West Germany, before captaining them once more within the United States in 1994, but was sent home after falling flat on a drugs test for ephedrine. 

During the second half of his career, Maradona battled with cocaine enslavement and was prohibited for 15 months after testing positive for the sedate in 1991.
