Generally, this resulted from excess fat or plaque accumulation within the blood vessel wall, which eventually narrowed the veins that provide blood carrying oxygen and other nutrients to the heartthe excess build-up of fat is named arteriosclerosis, while the excess build from plaque is termed as atherosclerosis. Not enough supply of oxygen to the brain can cause a stroke.

In coronary heart condition, the fatty substance accumulation within the blood vessel wall blocks the coronary arteries, the blood vessel supplying the hearts.
